Sunnybuns is a gracious and spacious 7-bedroom estate setting atop 3 private acres, with the most spectacular Ocean to Sound views imaginable. True oceanfront living tempts you to enjoy Corolla horses grazing in your own yard, star lit walks along the beaches and exploration of the Sound in a relaxing environment.

Bedrooms: 1 King Master/attached nursery, crib, corvette toddle bed, & bassinet, baby swing, changing table & high chair. 3 Queen Masters, 2 Twin Master, 6th bedroom 2 bunks, 7th bedroom pyramid bunk. Great room with fireplace, large kitchen with attached screened in eating deck, downstairs TV room/game room with kitchenette.

Traffic on Saturday and Sunday can make a trip 2 or 3 hours longer from Norfolk, both coming and going. We have Friday to Friday rentals, which will keep you out of the hectic weekend traffic jams and long supermarket lines. Out of season, October until May, we will make every effort to customize our dates to fit your schedule.

Penny's Hill dune in our back yard is a very special feature. Second in size only to Jockey Ridge, it is a fabulous place to walk up to with a drink for sunset over Currituck Sound. You can start the day with a morning coffee for peaceful, private, spectacular dune sunrises. The dune is not the only place you can relax with a view of the sun. You can sit in the same living room chair for both sunrise and sunset views.
We are located only 2.2 miles into the 4-wheel drive area being one of the first rentals & a very short drive up the beach. The advantage to this is there are no streetlights so the sky looks as if it is full of diamonds at night. There is great shelling on the beaches and abundant wild life, like the wild horses right in your own yard!
